Time to go home for Rugby!

Why is getting up to check out of a hotel by 10am, no matter where you are in the world - one of the most depressing things you can do?

Ah well, we trundled off to a local market - a truly bizzare experience - I’m sure half the stock in this place was lifted, but that yet again is a whole other story!!!!!

We couldn’t hang around for long - we needed to get back to Swindon for a Rugby Fest!!!! A nice couple of days! Followed up by some enjoyable rugby!

Warwick and an Indian’s Front Room

The mystical chaos of the free meal is still ongoing, but we trundled down for a leisurely breakfast, before heading out on our travels to Warwick, we spent much of the day at the castle (again photo’s appearing on Flickr soon!), Emma shocked me somewhat by declaring we were going to walk around the ramparts - if you know Emma and her fear of heights you’ll understand why I was so shocked! We had a few wobbly moments, but it was all good - and I got to play with the camera.

The biggest decision of the day to be had, was where we would eat tonight, with the threat of heavy snow and that mammoth driveway, we didn’t really want to be too far from the hotel. That left us reallistically with two choices:
1. The Indian, we’d passed it on the way in, gone to investigate in the morning and I’ll be honest on two counts:
a) It looked a little bit pricey!
b) The outside just looked like a house with a huge car park, the front door was, well, a front door! I was convinced that we’d end up in some chap’s front room whilst he watched TV in the kitchen.
2. The pub we’d had lunch in on the day we arrived, a nice place with lots of nooks and crannies and a fantastic menu, it was an innkeepers lodge and had been a bit quiet when we had lunch there the day before.

We opted for the pub, on safety grounds… Had a fantastic meal, and sat next to quite the oddest family, I’d need another entire blog (that’s a whole blog, not just a post!) to discuss them!! Whilst waiting for dinner I taught Em to play Sudoku on my phone - why do I get the feeling that could be the last of my phone I see for some time!
